Physics-based computational biomedicine is at its infancy in Vietnam, yet top Vietnamese theoretical physicists and chemists can greatly contribute to the development of powerful tools for contributing in solving relevant problems for the human health. The KeyLab for Multiscale Simulations of Complex Systems offers a unique chance to do outstanding research in neuromedicine, with unique perspectives of a high level career in science. The research is strongly interdisciplinary, with colleagues from Germany (IAS-5/INM-9 at Forschungzentrum Jülich) and UK (Culham Center for Fusion Energy at Abingdon) bringing in their expertise to the projects. Students and postdocs exchanges with Juelich will further foster the collaborations.
We are currently searching for theoretically oriented master/PhD students along with postdocs in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Inquiries should be sent to Prof. Toan Nguyen, toannt@hus.edu.vn or to Prof. Paolo Carloni, p.carloni@fz-juelich.de.
